Armstrong Alnico Single Coil
This is the only true single coil floating pickup with adjustable pole pieces. The single coil design and Alnico magnet replicates the bright vintage sound of the classic D'Armond, Gibson P-90 and other vintage pickups, but careful shielding and solid potting makes them more noise resistant than the originals. Best of all, the hex screw poles allow the player to calibrate the pickup to match the output of either nickel or bronze strings. In addition, Kent has tapped the coil with three connector lugs, so the player may choose either of two output levels: 7K or 10K ohms, or even switch between them while playing. Each pickup is individually handmade in the USA by Kent himself.
Kent Armstrong Adjustable PAF
The state of the art magnetic jazz pickup. This humbucking pickup is quiet, fat and smooth sounding, handmade with an elegant matte black epoxy body. The pickup is fully adjustable, with two rows of hex- screw polepieces for optimal string balance. Each pickup individually handmade in the USA by Kent. Output: approx. 8K ohms.
Kent Armstrong "SmoothTop"
Kent designed and built the original Benedetto floating pickups, which are now made elsewhere. For those looking for the quality and responsiveness of the originals, Kent produces this pickup under his own name. Top is smooth finished, ebony-grain epoxy, without exposed polepieces. Also available in gold or nickel finish, and with neck mounting tabs, in six or seven string length. Each pickup individually handmade in the USA by Kent. Output: approx. 8K ohms.
Jason Lollar pickups
Jason makes some of the best pickups on the planet. I use his amazing recreation of the Charlie Christian single coil pickup and make my own top plate for it. 38-gauge wire, large coil, like the originals. Big round tone retaining clear top end. Uses modern Alnico 5 magnets, so it blends the past and today; the sound of the thirties and forties with modern day materials. The Charlie Christian pickup was used by Charlie Christian (of course!), Jimmy Raney, Barney Kessell, Dennis Budimer, Oscar Moore, Hank Garland, Kenny Burrell (on an L-5), among others.

Fishman jazz guitar transducer
This high performance, ceramic-piezo pickup consists of dual vibration-sensing elements embedded in a fully adjustable, precision milled, ebony bridge. Unlike electromagnetic designs, this pickup delivers a truly accurate reproduction of the guitar's natural acoustic sound and feel. Mounting the bridge and output jack requires no holes or alteration to the instrument.

Fishman piezo bridgeThis pickup is used with an on-board pre-amp, made in Scotland by Mike Vanden. This unit is mounted under the pickguard; it's that thin. The controls feature VOLUME, ACTIVE TONE for the magnetic pickup, and BLEND using edge wheels. Visually, this gives a very clean look to the instrument plus the right hand can't hit any controls. When using the magnetic pickup, it is possible to dial in an acoustic edge to the sound by using the blend wheel.
Any pickup not mentioned here can be ordered for your guitar.
