or write to :

If you want more information or pictures on a particular
model please let me know and I will send you additional information.
Step 2.
Discuss your needs and ideas with Daniel. Important points
to consider are what you are playing now (and what you like or
don't like on your guitar), your playing style, preferences for
the sound of the instrument and preferences for the looks. The
vibe of the instrument is what makes it come alive. I
am a player myself which makes it easier to communicate about
sound and feel of a guitar.
Contact with the customer is of paramount importance. It
can take quite a while for the customer and the maker to build
a picture of the possible future guitar. This proces is is important
to go through because the end result depends on the quality of
the input; I must have a clear picture in my mind before any
building starts.
Step 3.
When your dream guitar exists as a mental picture in both
your mind and mine, I will make you a detailed description, include
a price that will be held firm until delivery and a realistic
estimated delivery time.
Step 4.
If all details are agreed on, the building proces starts.
During this proces, I make digital pictures of many aspects of
building your personal guitar. I will send you pictures at intervals
by post or internet. When the guitar is finished, you will have
a detailed story in pictures about how your very personal instrument
came to life.
Payment is made in four terms ; a deposit and two terms during
the building proces, and a final term upon delivery. Daniel Slaman
guitars are under a lifetime limited written warranty to the
original owner. If you are not satisfied with the guitar, you
may return it within 10 days of delivery. Transportation will
be your cost. Upon resale of the instrument by Daniel, you will
receive a full refund. I am proud to say that in my guitar making
career this guarantee has never been called upon. If your guitar
has many individual, unique features which will make the guitar
difficult to sell, we will have to make other arrangements. Each
instrument comes with a Certificate with specifications, name
of the owner and price.
If
possible, you are welcome to visit the workshop at any time (by
appointment) before you make any decision, and of course at any
time during the building proces.
