Players - Jean-Pierre Lienard

Jean-Pierre Lienard, Belgium

Jean-Pierre Lienard Jean Pierre Lienard is a Freddy Green style player from Belgium. Always playing rhythm chords, never a solo ! His 18" North sea Orchestra guitar had to be loud, to compete with the horn and other instruments. When Jean-Pierre took out his guitar to play with his fellow musicians for the first time, they asked him what had happened to him, because now they could actually hear him play !

The guitar has a European spruce top and lightweight American maple back and sides. The instrument was made as light as possible to achieve the projecting, loud rhythm sound. It can be amplified through a floating Benedetto pickup.
