Mr. Grenham is an admirer of
the sound of Mark Whitfield; a fundamentally acoustic, mellow
sound. In his guitar this is achieved by a lightweight Sitka spruce
top, a 25 inch scale, Benedetto suspended pickup, straight neck
for a low action, and light strings. The guitar sings best with
a 011 to 012 set of flatwound strings.
