About Daniel

Daniel was born in The Netherlands in Gouda on 11 May, 1957. Playing the guitar from the age of twelve, he became interested in guitar construction at the age of seventeen. In 1979 he built his first classical guitar, using tools and help from his father who unfortunately died in 1989.

Daniel is a self - taught luthier. He did one Masterclass Guitarbuilding with Jose Romanillos in 1988.

Daniel now lives and works in Den Haag, The Netherlands.
