Laurent Bouyer, player and collector in Paris, France had a desire for a huge (18.5 inch) and loud acoustic archtop guitar in Art Deco style. This North sea Special guitar has a thuya wood pickguard. The thuya wood is also inlaid into the ebony tailpiece, along with a piece of abalone. The stairstep designs add to the Deco power of this guitar. The guitar is strung with a 013 set Phosfor bronze roundwound strings and is very loud and vibrant.
